Replying to a thread in earnest is NOT bumping.
Can I borrow that one? Mather!**
** Think…“Cockney” rhyming slang!
With TWIN BODY-POWERED DORRANCE #5X STAINLESS STEEL HOOKS!!!
Sorry, you’re not worthy of being puzzled out.
Is it just me, or has this place been a bit inundated with blah blah blah crazycakes lately?
In the interest of full disclosure, I don’t think Louis paying the $15 will make us care, either.
Also, Bryan, I think he just called you Dan Rather, though he’d’ve been better off calling you Koppel
Dance for me, monkey.
Do you want to qualify that statement with a few observations Bryan? Go ahead then! :dubious:
{this could be fun.}
Okay, now I know I’ve been around the SDMB for a while. I get this!
More on topic, let’s see: Satan, Beelzebub, Lucifer…Louis Cyphere…Lucifer! Do I win a prize?
School’s out. We do have a pretty fair crop this year, though.
It’s eerie, but I suppose in a place as hospitable as the SDMB, which welcomes such a large number of “guests,” it’s inevitable that a lot of them will begin to appear remarkably similar…
My statement speaks for itself, I thought.
Unless you’re, y’know, stupid.
Well, there was this news article.
And there were these movies that were unintentionally hysterical.
Sez you.
Admit it, you’re green with envy that I was the 1st to use it. Go on you’re among friends.
It’s bad enough to know that the little kids are peeing in the pool. I’m never going swimming again.
Sez you.
But if it’s the filter inlet, does that really count as fucking the pool?
Jesus f*ing Christ. Now you’ve gone and conjured up Autolycus. Bad QED! Bad QED!
[Vincent Price]Yeeeeeeees?[/Vincent Price]
And hey, the bubble-spewing jet thingies on pools have multiple uses, doncha know.
My name actually means “Light-bearer” in some language or other.
One of you might know!
No. Your name means “famed warrior of no consequence” in bad German and misspelled English. Had you meant an attempt on a clever presentation of the Latin “Lucifer,” you should have tried “Lou Siffer” (or, better, “Lou Kiffehr” or “Lou Chiffehr”), which avoids both the extraneous syllable of Louis as well as the effete final “e” and the wrong initial vowel sound in Cyphere.
Better luck in the future.
