Yeah, but you never hear anyone say they want to escape to Houston.

Yeah, but you never hear anyone say they want to escape to Houston.

So Siegfried, you’re younger and bigger then them and they still kicked your ass? Both in the game and outside it? Oh dear…
AudreyK, I actually have heard people speak about wanting to escape to Houston. They’re all from Galveston! Zing! To the Galvestoners in the audience: I kid!
Stoneburg, I’d quibble with you on the “kicking ass” notion, but we UH students are an apathetic lot. So I’m going to go do something else now.
And to the both of y’all:
The University of Houston players share not one ounce less of the blame for the fight. They were right in the middle of it egging it on. Both team’s reputations as “outlaw” programs weren’t just reinforced… they were justified.
Several of us watching the game turned to each other after about the third or fourth shot of the fans and remarked that our preconceptions of Hawaiians as a noble and handsome race had just been shot all to hell. I sincerely hope those in attendance weren’t representative of the native people as a whole.
Good game. Terrible ending. Bitter aftertaste.
I watched the game. From the coverage, I got the impression that Houston started it, and then escalated it.
It should have ended in regulation. Otherwise, a pretty fun game to watch.
Whats with the bowls this year? Does anybody coach defense anymore? Games with 100+ points scored? Feh.
Go 'SC! Beat the Wolverines!
Well, big offense and no defense were the MO for both Houston and Hawaii this year. I think it’s just that particular matchup. Plus, you had three overtimes, so that’s an extra 35 points right there.
