I pit those who pit Der Trihs.

Good old Chucklehead. The answer is always the ad hominem. And here we see one of the differences that is often pointed out about many liberals: We’re talking about the interpretation of a part of the constitution. We disagree. I can accept that someone can interpret it differently, and that doesn’t make them a bad person. You, you dolt, must ascribe attributes like “hateful” and “animal”. Don’t you feel like you ever need to dial it up? Seriously, dude. It’s too expected. Boring.

Lol.

Question: Let’s say I am. What does it have to do with my position on anything else. Because you think I’m wrong on that, does that mean I’m wrong on gays in the military and being able to adopt? George Bush? Abortion? The idea that Halle Berry is one of the hottest women to ever walk the planet? The fact that Rob Schneider and Will Forte are the least two funny people to ever be in the SNL cast?

You’re reading over the “if”.

You get these extremes of thought. I knew a guy in America who, under the Bush Sr administration – that’s HW, not the more recent one, mind you – kept his passport at the ready in case he had to flee suddenly and advised everyone he knew to do the same thing. Said at the time under Bush Sr, liberals could all be rounded up at a moment’s notice, anything could happen, they could all be imprisoned and the key thrown away. We’ve lost touch, but I wonder what he’s like these days, heh.

Well he might not be tortured . Then again he might be. The fundis are nuts.

Monkeys might not fly out of my butt. Then again, they might.

Thank you for the contribution of the merit I’ve come to expect. Come on, man, step the fuck up!

I kind of picture him like Mel Gibson in that Passion of the Christ South Park episode.

It shows an inability to think critically.

Do you think ad hominems are fallacies?

What the hell are you on about? It’s perfectly legitimate that a person who steadfastly holds an intensely irrational position has little room to criticize others for perceived rationality of beliefs.

Who – magellan or Der Trihs?

Guys, the thing is that Der Trihs already thinks he’s being persecuted. He’s said before that he can’t say what he says here in real life because the Christians would kill him.

I thought we all realized he had a persecution complex, but also knew that, since he’s so scared to act, that he’s essentially harmless. I’ve personally always treated him like he’s a little bit less than sane.

(I’ll admit I suspect it’s all just an Internet persona. But I have no way of knowing that for sure, so I treat people like they obviously want to be treated.)

Well, the bright side is that if you wanted a clean cup, all you’d have to do is move down one seat…

Newsflash: “intensely irrational position” does not equal “position I disagree with”. Just thought I’d help you out with that.

So, are all my other positions equally flawed?

And do you hold that Obama lacks the ability to think critically? His position is pretty close to mine. Do all the people who agree with my position lack such a capacity?

Considering the fact that most Tea Party members worship Ayn Rand, who was one of the most outspoken atheists of the 20th Century I can say that anyone who claims that a “Tea Party government” would start executing atheists is either incredibly stupid or delusional.

Yeah, but the tea party members are incredibly stupid and delusional.

Depends, calling another posters nuts while you’re backing an insane position is very ironic.

If Obama is so antigay marriage why did he oppose prop 8?

Okay name one good nonbigoted argument against gay marriage. Please back this up with an example of harm caused in other countries with gay marriage.

Hint: if you’re answer in any way, shape, or form includes Nazi Germany than you’re insane, or very hateful of Canada.

Alternately, they might not think hatred is a social skill worth perfecting.
