Is Bill Donohue a reliable source when he claims that priests who molest children are not pedophiles, but rather homosexual predators?

Actually, it is the recollection of exactly one reporter that has never been corroborated by any other person who may have attended the purported news conference.
Now, I have no reason to go about calling Robert Sherman a liar and the reported conversation is certainly consistent with the sort of stupidity that I expect to have heard from GWB. However, there is a rather glaring lack of corroboration regarding the actual conversation.
I place the report in the category of unverified and, at this point, unverifiable.
I am Catholic and I find Bill Donohue to be scurrilous, untrustworthy, and generally lacking in sense.

I actually grew up in a Tea Party America. The term was not used back then of course, but the whole clueless Neanderthal population of my West Texas area sure fit the profile. While I was never arrested, tortured and/or executed, it definitely was not pleasant. But certainly not dangerous. Well, so long as you stayed out of certain bars anyway.

Sorry. I didn’t see your post when I posted. It was one of those things where I had opened the thread, and then did something else, and then posted the reply.
I like DT. He says what he believes. He stands up all earnest and stuff while knowing that everyone thinks he’s batshit crazy. I really don’t think he’s a troll and if he is, he’s a very bored one. Trolls don’t usually stay in a place like DT does.
I don’t agree with DT’s opinions. I don’t think that I’d like DT irl. I do enjoy his brave posts.
I also have a very good friend who is so mentally out there that when he climbs the clock tower, I’ll be the one who says “How could anyone not see that coming?”.
