Well lets see. I suspect that I have more snow driving experience that any one on this board. I may be wrong. The only other person that has more might be my Wife. Though she has very very little 4x4 recovery experience. That’t my job. My Wife really doesn’t do the jeeping thing.
Pardon me If it pisses me off a bit to be called a liar. Especially by folks that cannot back up their so called facts with real, every day experience.
Every day, on snow and Ice I get to test this. It’s just normal routine. ABS is great, it really is, but it is easy to out brake it. Why this is a surprise stuns me. I thought that it was common knowledge.
Hokkay. Not trying to start a war here. I asked how often or how much you drive in snow. Lets change the subject. How often does your ABS engage?
For myself, in winter every day I would say it pops 6 times a day. It’s really really sensitive. But driving on packed snow and Ice will do that.
That’s the clue to me to lay off and threshold. Never have had it pop on dry roads.
What say you? Do you have your ABS pop daily for six months out of the year?
