Finally something has risen to the level that I no longer care that I’mas likely to get blasted in the Pit as he is.
Wendel Wagner: Stop telling people to be more careful when they make a flipping typo. It’s fucking annoying. Anyone with half a brain knows that, no matter how careful you are, mistakes happen. Most people realize this, and thus don’t waste their time over achieving literal perfection.
But that’s not entirely what pissed me off. Despite your inability to comprehend something with a slight mistake, you had the audacity to claim that you understood exactly what the OP said–even when the OP later explained.
Gah, this is why I hate making pit threads in the Pit. I just can’t keep the outrage going. And I’m not going to fake it. IF I hadn’t said I was going to make a pit thread, I wouldn’t submit this. But that would make me a jerk for telling him there was a thread about him.
So have at me for my weakass pitting, or for the various faux pas I’ve made. Just remember that, unlike Wagner, I don’t go around castigating people for not being perfect.
(And, no, I’m not giving a link. It’s bad enough that I have to make this stupid post.)
BigT, for a Pitting to have any point at all, you really should provide the link. For those interested, the thread in question is here.
The other alternative, of course, is that you could simply have posted in the original thread that you had thought better of it, which would probably have been the better course.
While Wendell does have a tendency to be rather snarky, and while he is continuing to argue against a statement that the OP later rephrased, I would have to agree with BigT’s own assessment that this is in fact a weakass Pitting.

BTW, BigT, Wendell Wagner seems to be correct in divining redfishhunter930’s intended meaning (“pbuh” v. “pbah”). The only thing I can think of “pbah” signifying would be better spelled as “ptooey.” Not sure why Wendell Wagner thought it was important enough to come in and make an issue of it, though.
I was with you up until this point. Maybe not convinced that you were right, but certainly willing to go along for the ride. But this is just lazy. I’m not going to do the work required to follow your thread. If you want me to listen to you, you do the work. It’s not like it’s a major hassle. Thanks to those that were more willing than I.
Wendell Wagner can’t figure out the quote function, doesn’t think kids like repetition, and thinks all British accents are equally comprehensible. That’s pretty much all it takes to demonstrate that he’s kinda stupid. Actually, it would only take any one of the three.
Not really. It’s more the fact that the OP made it a point to purposely not provide a link that made me instantly dislike him. Like Smeghead I may have been willing to go along with him and take his side if he hadn’t been such a prick about it, but now he blew his chance.
