Gee, I just checked this thread, curious as to why there were so many replies. (I was one the the Teeming Millions who had PM’ed her, and she’d told me what the favor was, so I really didn’t have any other reason to check the thread.)

Thank you all for such warm replies. My Dad printed off this thread and took it into hospital to show me and it really cheered me up. I have been in intensive care so things weren’t great but I am home now and on the mend. Thank you, you are all very kind people.
The favour is still happening so I hope you are all sitting on the edge of your seats in anticipation 
(Though I promise it really won’t seem that exciting after all this!!)
