Maybe we need more crazy here – and no one appreciates creative wackiness more than I do – but it has to be the right kind of crazy. The right kind of crazy isn’t random gibberish, it’s intellectually creative. It has to be intentional and purposeful. Measure for Measure expressed similar sentiments in #11. And we get that from time to time, perhaps most often in the Pit, which is one reason the Pit is sometimes an entertaining and purposefully funny place.
The bad kind of crazy is the kind that appears to violate – in spirit if not in actual chronological fact – the following part of the registration agreement: “Minimum age for registration on the SDMB is 13 years”. The Internet is teeming with that kind of crazy. We don’t need more of it here.
