I resolve to start the new MMP

One of my pet peeves, right up there with the use of “I” as the object of a preposition. If you feel badly, you are having tactile difficulties – badly is an adverb describing the manner in which you are performing the action of feeling. If you are uncomfortable about a situation, or sick, you feel bad – bad is an adjective describing your emotions or physical condition.

Rain was enough to clear the areas we had shoveled by the time I got up, and got rid of most of the snow on my car. Currently 45 ferrets/7 centipedes outside, and very foggy; most of the snow on the grass has now disappeared, and it’s supposed to start raining again soon. Tonight’s low 24 and tomorrow’s high 31, so presumably lots of ice on the streets when Lady SCAdian goes to her doctor’s appointment tomorrow. :frowning:

Guess I’ll have to get hold of a time machine and go back to the 1880s if I want to experience a real New England winter like the ones I used to read about when I was a kid.

Why do cats seem to believe that humans shouldn’t be allowed in the loo without a feline escort? Not to mention their slow ambling and frequent stops right in front of me when I’m trying to get to said room in the first place.

RDOS continues apace, though I’ll have to get dressed again so I can get to the pharmacy this afternoon to pick up my refills – which will probably be the height of my activities this week.
