Yep. We loaned them some pictures for the show. We did the same for a similar show on Showtime. We get requests relatively often from historians, students, filmakers, all kinds of people.

Ha! I’ve seen that site before. I shoulda figured it was a doper who ran it – truly imaginative and interesting smut is something I expect out of this crowd.

Stoid, do you have any idea what purpose the more bizarre pictures in the caption contest served? Because they amuse me to no end, but I couldn’t imagine who would get off on some of this stuff. Then again, a few hours on the Internet will prove that there is a fetish for everything…
None whatsoever, Already. I don’t think that they were all really fetish related, my take on it is that it was just so naughty to be taking pictures like that, a kind of silliness took over, and they ended up taking pictures of all kinds of weird stuff, just for the giggle factor.
One of my favorite “WTF?” pictures are the ones with the Howdy-Doodyish puppets.
As for winners, you have no idea what a drain it can be sometimes to even try to find anything decent. Invariably, certain themes emerge, themes that might actually be amusing the first 5 times I read 'em, but along about the 30th time, I’m ready to smack somebody upside the head. So originality is key.
