Bearded men …mmmm. But only if it’s in proportion to the guy. A skinny little man with a great big beard or a large man with a sparse little beard always looks out of balance.
No offense to the goateed, but I am not a particular fan of the style. Of course, I think the men where I work are issued goatees and earrings when they get their employee handbooks, so perhaps my lack of enthusiasm is just a thirst for variety.
Hmm, grew my goatee (Van Dyk, Robin Hood-style, what have you) as soon as I graduated from highschool. Not because I couldn’t before then, but because it seemed like a good time. It makes me look older, and hopefully more sophisticated/attractive… My girlfriend (of the time) liked my face both before and afterwards. I could grow a full beard in a month, easily, but usually choose not too. It seems a litle bit too much at this time in my life. I’m debating whether or not to get rid of all of my facial hair, but … well, I’m just too lazy. And besides, I like it this way. (And the feedback is quite helpful, ladies; thank you!)
