I have a beard, but I’m unsure of whether to keep it. 
Depending on the day, I shift between thinking it looks fine and it looks terribly scruffy. So. I come to the Dope to get the final word whether I should wear it proudly, or banish it from my face.
As a follow-up, for the women out there, in general are beards on guys attractive or not?

I occasionally like the right beard on the right guy. But in the vast majority of cases I like 'em smooth.
Unless you have a particular woman in mind (whose preference you can ask about), your best bet is to take it off.
A friend of mine recently shaved off his longtime beard. He reported to me that all the women loved it. If the women don’t love it, grow it back. But it is definitely worth shaving it off to find out.
I have a small monitor, so maybe that is my problem, but. . .what beard?
Four or five years ago I cut off a beard that reached my waist. I got tired of all the ZZ Top jokes, so I keep it under control now.
I think it looks good on you. I would need to see a shaved pic for comparison though.

Do you want to look older or younger? I can tell that sans beard you will look a lot younger.
Your complexion looks a little red now…is it normally red or is that from sun? If it’s from sun, are you going to have white skin where the beard used to be?
Personally, I am not a fan of beards. But yours doesn’t look too bad. But you’ll never know until you try!

From the responses so far, I think I’ll shave it off for the moment, I’ll post a second pic later for comparisons purposes.
As a bearded man myself I say wear it proudly! Beards are awesome, and my girlfriend tells me she much prefers me bearded because my beard is soft, but my 5 o’clock shadow is scratchy.
Plus, your beard looks good!
Keep it man. Pleanty of ladies out there who will like the beard. Trust me. 
Can’t somebody out there with some Photoshop skills give us a before-and after? That way we could get a better read before Dunawake does something drastic.
Keep it. Nature gave us beards for a reason. Though I’m male, and straight, I feel aesthetically almost all men look better with facial hair. Facial hair adds age and character to a face and can be used to disguise less desireable features such as a soft jaw or weak chin. In addition, it is often thought of to be more masculine and aggresive/ dominant than an unbearded face. Personally, I think that most adult men that I view unshaven look like overgrown little boys and appear absurd. You’ve a nice beard, it doesn’t appear too be patchy, or otherwise deficient. I’d keep it. PLENTY of ladies like facial hair BTW.
I think a well-groomed beard is a turn-on. I have been nagging my husband for nearly three decades in hopes of seeing some face fluff on his handsome self. He keeps shaving it off.
I think you look really hot in that photo. The beard should stay.

I’m a bearded guy and haven’t shaved in 2 1/2 years. The ladies love it. At every gathering of friends or family I go to I get compliments from both sexes. The guys think it looks cool and manly and wish they could grow one and the ladies love to feel it and run their fingers through it.
Though I do get the annoying fake, “Oh knows its tha al-qaida runs for you lives.” crap but thats not very often.
Guy with a beard voting for you to keep yours. If nothing else, if you ever have to commit a crime, it gives you a quick way to alter your appearance.

Depends on the guy, depends on the beard. Personally, I think you would be cuter sans beard; however, I may be saying that because with the beard you sort of remind me of my brother, and I don’t really like to think of my bro in terms of his cuteness, yano?
