I Should Have Never Gone Ziplining- NEW South Park Episode 4/18/2012

And Kyle has red hair.

They said upfront it was a “recreation,” so their poor acting and lack of attention to detail made it work in my mind. Put me down in the “I enjoyed the live-action part” camp.

Yeah the fact that Kenny was nothing like the real Kenny was hilarious to me. The live action Mr. Hankey was awesome too. The live action to me was so funny because it points out how whenever you have these reality shows with reanactments, they are probably never like the actual people in those situations, so it came off as ironic and funny. The really bad acting was also amazing.

I do think that the parts that had me laughing out loud the hardest were the narrative parts dealing with Cartman’s digestive tract, though.

“How many iPod Nanos is a friendship worth? One, apparently.”

Loved the episode. The voice for the “live-action” Mr. Hanky was great.

This. The animated part was hysterical, particularly because I have a deep and serious hatred of tour group activities (and I’m an avid traveler, so I’m regularly planning trips in ways where those awful things can be avoided). Every time someone would say, “To make a long story short,” I’d have flash backs to the waterfall tour I took in Fiji, full of chatty Cathies.

I did laugh at the live action part where, after sharing the drink, they all started to get progressively worse and worse sores on their mouths.

I thought it was a really great episode, and the first new one I’ve seen in a while.

I actually really liked the live action footage, since it mimicked so well the recreation footage on the shows it was spoofing.

I’d give it a 9/10.

I’m honestly not a big fan of the show and rarely watch, but I happened to catch this episode and it cracked me the hell up.
Very well done.

I liked the callback to last week’s episode that had Stan once again jackin’ it in San Diego.

Haha yes, that was quite clever and made the previous episode that much more worth having watched (the episode as a whole wasn’t so great but the jackin’ it in san diego part was right up my alley).

I’m a big fan of S.P. but I don’t think that this was one of the better ones, though I’m obviously in a minority here.
