I Spy -- Not Cool?

I saw the trailer for the I Spy movie and my jaw dropped. The original series was all about cool. This movie appears to be all about doofus.

I acknowledge that pairing a black man with a white man is not ground-breaking any more, but I was still shocked when it was revealed at the end of the trailer that the previous mess was supposed to be I Spy. From here it looks to be another Avengers.

Anybody else see it?

I think it’s a neck & neck contest with XXX to see which is the worst “actionhero/spy flick”. The race is too close to call, but at least Owen Wilson & Eddie Murphy can OCCASIONALLY act while Vin Diesel is nothing more then a mouth breather.

Murphy and Wilson might be better actors. But the trailer for XXX, while not really my style of movie, was far superior to the I Spy trailer. The next Bond movie is going to have to work to beat it.
