Major outage on the PS3.

Many members are reporting “original user accounts are unable to log on to the PlayStation Network.” Secondary accounts are able to log in to the network.

For example, my main account is Cid Savage. While I can’t log in to the PlayStation Network (and haven’t been able to for two days), I can browse the Internet, check for updates via the Internet and generally do things with the Internet. Anything Network-wise is out.

My nephew has a PSN account on my machine for his monthly Lemmings download. His account can log in just fine. The catch is, he just signed up a week ago.

I think someone hacked the PSN. Opinions?
