Playstation 3 question: saved games

So I now have a PS3. My roommate and I got Tiger Woods '08, and each started up a player. However, we started them up on different user accounts, because when he failed to create a user on the 360, we couldn’t play against each other.

I fear something similar has happened here - now instead of two players not being able to use one user account (a la the 360), it seems that two players can’t simultaneously use two user accounts on the PS3.

  1. Is this the case?
  2. If it is, is there a way to move one of the save files to the other user?
  1. Yes
  2. Yes

For #2, go to your game data utility, select the file, press “triangle” to bring up file options, then select “Send to user.” It may not be the exact wording, but I remember playing around with it one day and seeing that option.

Sweet! I’ll give it a shot when I get home. Thanks!

Not true. You certainly CAN use multiple user accounts on PS3. My wife and I do all the time on Little Big Planet. I start the game and when she turns her controller on it asks which account she would like to sign in with. Then we both play with our own account characters. I’m talking PS3 accounts, not just accounts within the game.

Now whether or not you can with TW I don’t know but I’ll bet cold hard cash that you can.

Cubsfan, could you give me a quick review of LBP? My girlfriend is still a little honked off at me for getting rid of the 360 (and Lego: Star Wars with it), and wants a game we can play together doesn’t have a steep learning curve.
