I found the cure for my urinating dog.
Dryer sheets. Namely the Gain kind.
Twix pees on everything so we put dryer sheets on all his hot spots.
We are now pee free.
Hm, maybe I’ll give that a try next time my cat thinks the carpet is his toilet…

Sure, you feel so smug and clever now, but just wait until he starts peeing in your dryer.

They are new. Fresh out the box. Oh, I also have hard wood floors and I’ve found that the clorox ready mop REALLY cuts down on the pee smell.

I read (it may have been on this board) that someone put foil on their carpet where they cat liked to pee, and it worked. I also read of someone putting cayenne pepper on their cat’s favorite pee spot. Try those. My dog just wanted to eat it, but cats are differnt.

Don’t the pet stores sell piss pads which are basically the same thing? I have a chinchilla and she will pee on anything almost involuntarily.
