My closets (3) are full and I’m down to about 2 feet of actual sleeping space on my bed. It’s a king size.
Time for some cleaning, me thinks…

I have over 125 t-shirts, and I live in the frozen north where you can only where them for about 3 weeks in lat July. I’m always embarrassed when someone sees them(which ain’t been for a while).
Well I have too few. Let’s get together!
I’m going clothes shopping tomorrow, cause I only have 6 wearable shirts and 3 shorts :). (oh, and I live in brisbane, so that’s really all I need to wear, winter’s kinda warm)
I think if you posted size/style information you’d get a lot of poor Dopers asking for donations.

I may have plenty of underwear, but I don’t have enough clothes, let alone “too many”.
I’m jealous. I’ve always wanted to have enough clothes so I could look at over-filling closets and whine “I have nothing to wear!”
My room is pretty much storage space. I sleep with my sister in her double bed because mine is covered with clothes. 
I think i must be average for guys my age.

i just realised that my wardrobe, over the last month or so has rocketed.
2 months ago, i woud have had far less than this.
1 pair good jeans.
1 pair Valentino’s.
1 pair twisted Levis.
1 pair faded dark Levis.
2x polonecks.
2x jumpers.
4x t-shirts.
3 shirts.
Although i have to agree. i would like a full wardrobe so that i have the oppertunity to mix and match my clothes, rather that wear whatever is cleanest.
I guess girls worry more about what they wear.
I seem to remember a thread about this kinda stuff before.
that’ll have my original list fo clothes. no-one cares. but just for reference in future. should i post my wardrobe.

Ooh! This reminds me of my desire to cut the back pockets off my old jeans and turn them into a quilt. Pity I only own 4-6 pairs at the moment (more if there are any under the rubble that is my bed).

hehehe - I have a shwack of stuff in my car this morning to take to the vintage/consignment store I work at.
Stuff that is decent, but not sellable goes to the womans shelter.
And Ginger - if you want quilt stuff, I gots quilt stuff - I have LOADS of sweats and pullovers and things that I don’t wear, and probably no one else would want to either - jeans too - if there’s going to be quilts made, I’m happy to dontate to the cause - send me an e-mail if yer serious!

Alice, Alice, Alice, It’s not that you have too many clothes, it’s that you have far to few closets.
In my house, having a cleaning fit upon some area is referred to as “committing a neatness.” This weekend I went mad and committed about five counts of felony neatness throughout the house…AND did a load of laundry…AND threw out all but 24 pair of underwear. And the rest of my unmatched socks. For this week, I will have matching socks. I will! And I’m going after my dresses next. All the size 12 stuff is too small and all the 18 stuff is too big. Too bad the 14 and 16 don’t fit either…
