Abrahamic Morality is terrible. It’s pro slavery, pro misogyny, pro murdering people for working on the weekend, anti-homosexual, anti-divorce, anti-other religions.
The morality laid out in the bible is wretched. And the nice, pleasant world we live in today is here *because *we’ve turned our back on the stupidity of biblical morality.
As for China, I’d rather not live there because I’m not a communist. How about Scandinavia? They’re mostly atheist and have a much happier culture than we do.
You have no evidence for your assertion that an atheist society is necessarily full of suicides.

The subject of this thread has already meandered a lot, and if it’s going to turn into nothing but a series of complaints about how unreasonable the other side is (Christians or atheists) or accusations that people are whining, I will close it soon.
I’ve answered your questions and you have run away from mine. Think hard. The reason you evade and change the subject constantly is because you don’t have a good answer. You say you want a debate, so debate.
But you can imagine a god who purposely designed us as “perfect eternal beings” that were somehow flawed enough to do something that caused a downfall? Wouldn’t the downfall of man be your God’s fault, for not designing people who wouldn’t do the thing he told them not to do?
Actually, he did not call you a whiner. In the first post to which you object, he indicated that you whined. That is an observation about your actions, not a remark about your personal character. In the second post in which he used the word, he used the same formula. Attacking the argument, not the poster, is our policy. Had you actually felt that it was an insult, you would have been better to report it. We MODs are not hanging on every word of every poster and I had not seen this exchange or the earlier one until a few minutes ago.

Actually, religion is correlated with social dysfunction, not atheism. The idea that religion makes people or society better is just something religious people made up out of nothing, like everything else they claim.
I could care less if you claim to be a Christian. Gary Busey claims this as well, yet he believes in past lives and astral projection. Without a counter argument, your comment is nothing but a disguised insult. That’s hardly Christian love.
If it helps at all, you should feel free to search tomndebb’s post history. If you look at GD posts, i’m pretty sure you’ll find he’s noted his Christianity before now.
