Babysitting my 7-yo nephew tonight. LittleDorky turns to him at the dinner table and says, “Hey cuz, you wanna hear the story of the Universe?” I manage to surreptitiously film it. I’ll transcribe it here for you:
The science is a little sketchy and his ‘storytelling skills’ need to be polished, but whatever. Obviously mom is the only one going to sit through this. The last line is for me, as the cousin had wandered off mid-stream, bored. I must have been grinning at him like a doofus. So as these words are leaving his lips (I replied, “Yes I do!”)- he resumes eating. His salad. With his fingers. :rolleyes:
Put it on youtube. It will get a million hits. People love that shit! I would personally like to see it. Like that little girl explaining Star Wars to her dad, it’s adorable.
In fact I thought of that, but in the video he has horrible red eye the whole time. He looks possessed. If I could figure out how to edit red eye from the video, I might do. Will link to you if it ever happens.
Oh, well, when you put it that way. It might just be the thing to push it over the top. We’ll see. He also, at the very beginning of the video, says “Ahem. Stop recording me.” to which I blatantly lied that I wasn’t. So, I think I’ll ask him for his permission first!
