Just sayin
Declan
I have edited your topic to make it more descriptive since it was getting reported as most people not knowing what you’re talking about.
Who the hell is Maisie?
Maisie Williams (young actress from Game of Thrones, aka Arya Stark), who starred in this week’s episode of Doctor Who.
Well Ann Sothern, silly. Although how you’re gonna put a woman who’s been dead for 13 years on TV who knows?
I think I’d be ok with that.
brool story co.
Thank you
Declan
Game of Thrones, eh? I better not violate any of the rules.
You mean the woman who looks too much like Clara to succeed her as a companion, without being as pretty so as to make her a poor substitute? Is that the plan?
I got the impression from the end of that episode that she is somebody that is going to cause trouble in the “future”. If not an outright enemy, a very powerful person with their own motivations that don’t jibe with the Doctor’s.
Clearly in the distant future, she’s gong to change her name to “Davros”.
Yeah, that. If we get to follow her personal growth as she comes to terms with immortality and her gift it could be interesting. A spin-off, with the Doctor checking in to guide her?
Wait, did Vikings ever invade Cardiff? Why yes, yes they did…
Looking forward to Jon Snow smashing a few Daleks.
You need some Abslom Daak, Dalek Killer.
I remember those days, when Daleks had to get into a little cherry-picker in order to fly. Obviously times have moved on since then.
Obviously based on the Pawnee, I’d say…
I loved that look that Capaldi gave when Clara says, I’m not going anywhere. So with the conclusion of this two parter, Maisie may not exactly be a companion, but certainly she seems like she is at least going to have a recurring role on the show.
Last I read Barrowman said that he would love to be in the show again, but something was impeding it, bit fuzzy on the details, would be nice though, if thats what Capaldi was forshadowing.
Well he’s busy on Arrow, but I don’t think Moffat has any great love for the character, despite writing his first appearance (The Empty Child). Captain Jack was always a Russell T Davies character really.
