I just happen to come across an article which says that he got married in 2010 (to a chick). I could have sworn I read that he was gay. Not closeted, just never saw the need to talk about it. I know it wasn’t about MacFarland, am I just remembering wrong?!

I for one have no idea where you got that idea. In everything I’ve seen him in (including interviews) he’s been rather explicitly hetero.
“McFarlane” and “McFarland” are pronounced identically as far as I can tell, to the point that I (whose surname is the latter) have been asked by people who heard me say my last name aloud if I was any relation to Seth or Todd.
He’s wicked short, but that’s not the same as gay.
Okay, I’m convinced. I must have confused him with another Seth maybe. I remember those great bits on The Soup where he played that YouTube “Leave Britney alone!!” freakazoid, but I knew that was just a bit.

I’ve never thought that Seth Green was gay. However, who knows how effective my gaydar is to begin with?
Are you sure you weren’t thinking of director Bruce Seth Green? (not that I have any reason to believe he’s any more gay than Seth Green is)
Oddly, both of them worked on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Interestingly, Radio Days just came on TV, and I have to say, of all the child actors who played the young Woody Allen over the years, Green is by far the best.

Weird coincidence. Just watched a clip on YouTube in which Seth’s sister, Rachael MacFarlane, introduces herself. She definitely says “lane,” not “lun” (don’t know how to type a schwa — sorry).
