I threw up. TWICE!

On Monday morning. No fever, no headache - just upchucked. What a wonderful way to start off the week

The first time was about 4 a.m. - at least I woke up in time to (barely) make it to the bathroom. Of course that threw my whole morning off, so when I actually woke up to get ready I was running late and didn’t have time for a shower and ended up feeling grungy all day.

I don’t start work til 10:30 on Mondays, so I had time to meet grampa for breakfast as he was in town to get a blood test. I was halfway through breakfast when my stomach started acting up again. On the whole, I’d rather puke in my own toilet - I know whose ass has been sitting on the rim I’m gripping, if you know what I mean.

I finished breakfast and was mostly ok after that, although the 6 Pepcids I downed may have had something to do with it.

I hope that doesn’t happen again anytime soon - I hate it when puke comes out my nose :frowning:

Yow.

Sorry to hear about that. I hope you start feeling better again soon. You might want to see a doctor if things don’t improve pretty soon.

Take care,

sublight.

Ouch, random technicolour yawns always suck.

I had a similar thing happen to me today. For no reason that I can fathom, my nose started tobleed in he middle of Genetics class today. I made it to the bathroom in time to catch the major flow, but it took forever to stop.

Of course I would rather have a paltry nosebleed as compared to yakking first thing in the morning.

But,look on the bright side, at least you don’t have any other problems (of course if it continues to happen I would be worried)

Umm… not quite sure how to broach this (being as how it’s a might bit personal and seeing as how you don’t know me from Adam’s cat), but could it be morning sickness? I mean just as a WAG. It seems odd to me to be vomiting for no apparent reason. Usually there are some other symptoms.

But then again I’m probably wrong. I usually am.

(p.s. Ignore the mistakes in my previous post. It’s late and I’m tired.)

Angie, my daughter in NYC, e-mailed me last week that she was sick to her stomach and vomiting. I reminded her about the ice pack on the stomach trick. Of course, that’s not going to work well in a public place, but it can settle a stomach fairly quickly.

corvus, I was told to stop a nosebleed, pinch tightly on the bridge of the nose, right where glasses would hit if you wear them, and that is supposed to slow down or stop the blood supply.

Old ex-wives tales? Motherly advice?

Good luck, you two.
