Into the world of pornography on the Internet.
I may sound naïve here but I could not friggin believe what I saw. But wait, it’s not what you might be thinking. Aside from the pictures on the opening pages I didn’t see much porn per se. What I did see where millions of links to porn. And when you click on those links guess what you get? More links! And if you click on those links you get more links. All sites claiming to be the ultimate pornography site of the century. Phrases like, “Here’s the Porn!” and “Teens!” “Slut Hut!” all blinking for attention were splayed across pages and pages of links leading to other links. My eyes began to hurt after about 20 minutes of looking at pages of hyperlinks leading to popup banners and advertisments for every way a penis could possibly fit into a hole.
These sites where so weighted down by volumes of crappy content and cheesy pictures and that the actual pay part was difficult to find. I clicked on a few “free trials” and quickly found out that you go nowhere without a credit card number. The scam is to offer up “free” pornography with a membership. To get a membership you must verify that you are an adult and in order to do that guess what you must do? That’s right; give these fuckers your credit card number.
I was wondering how many kids might have already sneaked their parent’s credit card out, written down the number and given it to these sites?
Someone told me the other day that organized crime is behind most of the sex sites on the Internet however I think they may have outsmarted themselves. I ain’t against nudity or an occasional x rated movie but the most mind numbing thing I can think of to do right now would be to search for porn on the Internet.
