i tunes/roxio difficulty, I'm sure it's an easy fix, Help!

I am just learning my i tunes stuff, and I’m doing pretty good, I think, really.

But I’ve hit a snag and, try though I have, I cannot figure what I’m doing wrong, how about giving me a hint.

Here’s the thing, I’m on a mac g4, using itunes but my burner needs roxio to work. Okay, we can make it burn that’s what’s important really, so it’s okay, it just came back from the shop actually.

So I download some mp3’s, listen to them in itunes, perfection.

When I drag them into roxio for no reason I can fathom, some of the songs are shortened from say 2:47 to :54 in length. Not just one, a couple of them.

What the heck is happening? There are only 17 songs, totalling just over an hour so it shouldn’t be not enough room on the cd I’m assuming. I’ve surfed all around looking for hints but can’t find a thing.

Help me out if you can, it’s making me crazy.

I have put together a rockin’ gospel cd but can’t burn it correctly.

Thanks in advance, by the by.

I use a windows box, but I burn CDs direct from i Tunes.
Highlight a play list over on the left side of the screen (or create one then highlight it)
There should be a burn disk button in the upper right corner of the screen

Sorry, I can’t answer your question directly as I’ve never used Toast. However, have you tried using Patchburn to enable your burner in iTunes. Enabling unsupported CD and DVD burners is exactly what it was creating for (read the FAQ on the link).

OB

I would not have expected Roxio to understand iTunes format music files, especially because of the security, so that might explain why it’s not working. I could be wrong though, I haven’t used iTunes or Roxio very much.

You should probably just burn from iTunes as Rick does.
