Get a freckled redheaded bloke, and dress him up in expensive clothes. Call him Harry and imply that he might have royal connections. Then put him on a dating game show.
I have to watch a couple episodes of this just to see if they can get away with it. I’m sure some of the girls won’t be fooled. But the ones that are will be hilarious.
I know that there are some clueless people out there, but c’mon. These women have to know it’s not the real guy and they’re playing along.
The producers are always around, telling people what to say, how to react, what type of person they are supposed to pretend to be. They know that it’s fake. Non-disclosure documents are signed so they aren’t supposed to talk about behind the scene stuff. That right there tells contestants what’s going on before filming starts.
They’re called “reality shows” for a reason. Reality has nothing to do with it.
[QUOTE=hajario] The woman who came in second place on Joe Millionaire was a good friend of a good friend of mine. She was totally fooled.

Wikipedia’s entry on Joe Millionaire says, “Runner-up Sarah Kozer received notoriety when the media reported during the course of the show that she had appeared in bondage videos while she was attending law school.”
I had the same reaction when I heard about this show a few weeks ago. I think the entire thing is probably fake and the “contestants” are in on it and just acting.
The show never calls him Prince Harry. In fact, the butler tells the girls to call him “Sir” throughout and he calls him “Sir” throughout.
Though when the butler was trying to explain to NotHarry what Harry is all about, he said “Harry, Prince of Wales”. No, Charles is Prince of Wales. Harry is “Prince Harry of Wales”.
I imagine they are walking a fine legal line. The Royals are very image conscious. Using Harry’s Royal name & likeness to bed girls would probably be frowned up. Either by the fake Harry or the real Harry.
I hate hate hate shows like this but …loved it. I just thought it was a clever ruse and the guy does look so much like Harry, it’s spooky. I was sorry to see Leah go- I thought she was having the most realistic reaction of a girl who might really think he was Harry. Didn’t see what was so special about the girl that got the Crown Suite.
