When Speaker said “Coming from a straight guy” he was referring to himself, I assume.
dang…two pictures and even a “smackie” thrown in, and still no recognition! What’s wrong with you people?
OK, consider yourself recognized. Now, urrr, **SMUsax **ol’ buddy…Wanna share that girl’s phone number?
See? That’s what I’m talkin’ about! I was just fishin’ for compliments!
Actually, she’s quite taken with me for some reason. I’ve yet to figure it out, but I ain’t gonna argue!
I think that Zeke is cute! http://fff.fathom.org/pages/opalcat/zeke-edit.jpg

Err… Big 80s Hair [sup]TM[/sup] that is. :smack:
You are one-hundred-percent correct. Zeke is cute. Zeke is also a girl, I will point out. (There was some confusion as to her gender when we first got her, eight years ago. Ten minutes of indecision has led to a lifetime of people thinking my dog’s a stupid BOY-dog.)
How on earth did you edit that photo? My back yard looks EXACTLY like that in the fall (when that was taken)!
Thanks, Hillbilly Queen. I am pretty certain that’s the first time anyone’s made the effort to compliment my feet. Of course, you can’t see the tattoo in that one. Either of the tattoos, for that matter.
Short answer: digital magic
Long answer: I split it into its red/green/blue layers, equalized the histograms, adjusted the contrast, then recombined the layers. Then I made several duplicate layers and colorized various areas. Then I cut away the parts of each layer that I didn’t need, and recombined the whole thing.
Baloney! But thanks.
I’m blushing…
good morning friends,

Here I am, looking like Businessman Jesus in a maroon shirt and tie.
This is me, doing my '40s thing.
Lorna…may I be the first to say:
Rowwwer! How you doin’?
Sure, SMU, go ahead!
Ok, here’s a one page preview of the SDMB picture pages. It’s nothing special, just one of those AOL snap-together model kits of a web page. Where applicable, each member’s name links to their homepage or where the picture was saved from. if anyone has any objections with the page or having one’s picture on the page, let me know how to rectify it and it’ll be done asap. I have yet to put up page two, and I’m still collecting pictures. There will be the typical disclaimer that I’m not affiliated with SDMB and that all photos are property of their respective owners…blah blah.
Scared to ask…what d’ya think so far?
