It’s basically free, since I’m paying for AOL anyway

Yes, I’d love any additional exposure to the site, since I’m not sure how well it’d be found by web searches. Thanks a heap

Hi, Opal
Nice work, Max Carnage! I’m a sucker for these pictures. I love seeing them (and I really think it adds to the sense of community).
Mine’s in my website, but here’s easier access: Moi.
You look more like Drew Carey after a bottle of tequila, than a beatle.

I’ve been said to resemble a younger Mr Wick, myself. . .
Damn. Preview! :smack:

You can lead a horse to water, but he can’t code a link.
Max: Yeah, I know it’s free, but if you ever ditch AOL or whatever, you would have to move it and everyone would have to change their links. Also, it would be a niftier url
Up to you, just let me know if you are interested.
Mine is one of the few actually still up on the People Pages:

cercaria, after looking at your pic, and rereading your post in this thread, I have only one thing to say:
Marry me?
Know what, Opal? I’m clay in your hands. Mold me. Your site is great (and featured in calendars :)) so I know you know what’s best. Me, I’m just a babe in the woods at this web stuff. Do with me what you will, and let me know what if anything you need.
BTW…that last line has yet to net me any dates at the clubs I frequent.
How do you get to the people pages?
You’re all so stinkin’ good looking. I almost didn’t post this… but I got off my butt (well, not really, I sat down mostly “got motivated” is probably the better term) and setup a Yahoo Photo’s account. So, for anybody interested… The pictures are in order…
1- My retarded finger. (You can’t really tell, but it bends backwards quite a bit.)
2- Me at the Portland airport
3- Me and soccerduck (My g/f)
And they can be found here
Here’s the link. But I warn you, it’s a ghost town over there.

Ok here is your site: http://pictures.teemingmillions.com/
The DNS is still propagating, so if you can’t get to it, just try later. I sent you email with the details for how to upload the pages and images there.
All right Hillbilly, after all this time you talked me into it.
Here’s me with Mr. 6000 posts, Esprix, at a recent Dopefest.
Esprix is the normal sized person…
I’m the one on the far right.
Here’s the one I had at the SDMB People Pages…

Bottom right-hand corner, alone with the Alvarez acoustic. This is from our med school’s Humanities Festival a few years ago. I’m playing “She Came In Through The Bathroom Window”, which I followed up with “Friend of the Devil”.
Here’s another one I can’t believe I found:

I’m the one kneeling with the mandolin in the first picture. This was from the UK freshman production of Neil Simon’s “Fools”. (I was Count Gregor Youskevich.)

Y’know, folks, after perusing a bunch of the photos posted here, I have to say that we are one incredibly good-looking group of people. There’s not one woman I’ve seen here that I’d turn down for a date (based on looks, that is; some of them might be mean or something), and there’s not one guy I’ve seen who would make women pretend to be lesbians. Is this a coincidence? I don’t think so…
Well, OK, maybe it is. But like most of us, I’m skeptical about Internet people and don’t think of myself as one. But damn, people; we look FABULOUS.
I must second Max on that. Whew!!!
My god, I’m a total dork. Thank you soooooooo very much, Rico.
Esprix
Well, there IS a reason I’m hiding my face in all my pictures.
But damn are my hands sexy!
You’ve forced it out of me. I went ahead and whipped a minimal site on the Teeming spaces.
An extra special “thank you!” for the area goes to OpalCat and whoever else runs the site.
Now, hide your eyes, children, because here’s a picture of me, taken three years ago. Once I dredge up a more recent one that I like better or if I figure out my scanner better so it’s not as grainy, I’ll put that one up instead (though I think that’s one of the best pictures I’ve ever had taken of me). For now, you’ll have to be content with mentally drawing glasses and a goatee on yon image.
Anonymity… fading…
