Naw, I’d spill my coffee.
What an ad! I want the car, myself…
Wow… Toronto has changed since I was last there! What does it take to get on the subway now, five midway tickets?
And a packet of Gravol.
I want everything in that ad, except for maybe the Nascars.
At this point I’d settle for hydro bills without the HST.
New mayor Rob Ford wants to overlook a previously approved multi-billion dollar transit plan in favor of more subways. Maybe this is what we will get.
Eh, they could build that and Torontonians would still complain about how the TTC’s too slow …
I want to live in the city depicted in the film, please.
We could get the Bahrainians to run it!
Probably, and to off set the union demands or face a strike, the fares will go up to $15 one way.
And yet, we’d still have to use tokens.
It reminds me of one or more of the Batman movies; Gotham City features a ridiculously elevated mass transit rail system. It was an effective visual feature in the movie, but IRL I can’t think of any reason why you would build your transit system twenty or thirty stories off the ground.
The girl at the end is pretty cute…
Oh yes.
The ‘making of’ video is pretty interesting as well. A lot of the aerial shots were competely synthesized, and they moved a lot of buildings around.
Funny, I was thinking the same thing about the guy playing with the soccer balls
