I want my sig

When I tell the Board I want to include my sig (only once, or twice per thread), then preview my post (every? time), the Board forgets I want my sig. I have to recheck the sig box. Can this be changed so the sig stays “on” after a preview? We would still have the option to uncheck it, if it didn’t feel right.

A similar question was asked in http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=52160 also called “Sticky Sig”
but there, the doper wanted their sig to show up every time automatically. I just want the board to remember that I checked the sig box.

It’s not an option on our level, or we would have changed it already. Any fix for this “unintended feature” would have to come from the programmers at Jelsoft, makers of vBulletin.

In the meanwhile, if you always preview first, the solution is just to not bother clicking on the sig box until after you’ve previewed anyway.

I’ve seen it on their list, but sometimes they need to be
told more than once about things to believe people really care.
