I’ve been having trouble with my sig. When I compose a message, the box for “include sig” was always checked in automatically. For the past week it hasn’t been checked in and I don’t have my sig on the posts because I’m used to not having to worry about clicking the sig box. Why did the box suddenly start being checked? How do I make it so it is once again atomatically checked when I compose a new message? The problem is compounded by the sigs not being on the previews.
I think you’ll find your answers here.

Additionally, due to a small glitch, you need to select “Show Signature” after previewing. For some reason, doing a preview causes “Show Sig” to become unselected.
The sig default was changed from “checked” to “unchecked” a couple of weeks ago and was discussed in great detail on this board before it was implemented.
We do not anticipate a reversal in policy.
You pass right by the selection box on your way to the “submit” button, so it shouldn’t take but a second to include your sig in any post you like.
To preview any sig, all you have to do is make the change and view any previous post you’ve made; the sig file automatically updates and is visible for all your posts where the sig option is activated.

Thanks. I missed the thread.
I don’t venture outside the realm of GQ all too often…
Ha! I’m getting in the habit of clicking it now!
