Love the song and it could be just the right amount of skanky for pole, if that’s the character/persona one wants to play on a given evening… It’s just too fast and, how shall I put this… Too mainstream frat boy metal for my personal tastes. I’m a little bit more goth(ish), so Buckcherry would be “beneath” me, if that makes any sense. Purely a personal stage image/persona thing. From a musical taste point of view, well, let’s just say I do have that song on my iPod and there is an appropriate time and place for it.

A Doper started a thread linking to some pole dancing competition vids on youtube - those women were doing things that made Olympic gymnastics look like Little League - both in terms of skills and appearance.

I think I caught that thread and watching those videos is what inspired me to go find a pole studio somewhere. I was all, :eek: “I GOTTA learn how to do that!!!”
