I’m getting a lot of calls lately from recruiters who want someone who speaks English and French, for various kinds of support roles (my old field). It was a telephone interview, so I didn’t have to iron a suit. I was just wearing normal clothes.
The bizarre thing is, I had just finished my comic a minute before I saw the email arrive. I was about to be happy that the comic was done after two months of work, and then this disappointment. I was left feeling neutral but very unsettled.
