Well, anger seems to lead to a lot of rape, and better a vasectomized rapist than not. Also, I hear poor self-esteem leads to indiscriminate sexual behavior. Though I have real doubts about that. I don’t think all that much of myself and I hardly ever get laid. So if the OP is a depressed hot chick, well, maybe I’ll want to have a go at her. But I’ve had my snipping done, so I’m safe progeny-wise.
BTW, did I miss a gender ID, the posts were just too miserable to actually read through in their entirety?
Not really. The OP was referred to as someone’s “little brother” and did not object. That’s all I got.
I’m sure that with your newfound worldwide fame, depressed hot chicks are lining up outside your door even as we speak.
But you missed the bullshittest of them all. It isn’t God or science or aliens. It’s us. Each other. It’s depending on one another to be decent. It’s the expectation that good people have been chosen or elected to administer fairness, only to discover that they’re bullies. They abuse their petty powers with wound licking judgments, smashing the small hopes of people whose big hopes have already been smashed. The lower it goes, the more it stinks. One can almost understand a George Bush. He has great power and exercises great tyranny. A human being can hardly resist the corruption that such an office brings. But it’s the munchkin power brokers. Those who control tiny things. When they use what little power they have to cause little damages to little people, one cannot help but wonder what sort of ruined character so possesses them that they cannot find within themselves a modicum of decency. All that is required to lift a spirit is a small act of kindness, and these are so rare. Most of earthly life consists of battles against Poobahs of no significance who exercise powers of no weight, and who suffer no apparent consequence other than truth illuminating their black souls. There’s no point in blaming God or science. The mysery of our existence comes from far less than either of them.
Seriously, you might want to look into Buddhism. I am not a Buddhist, but as I understand it, you don’t have to believe in anything supernatural, and you get to talk about how Life Is Suffering.
Or you might want to see a counselor or psychiatrist who’s qualified to treat depression.
You say that as if that poorly-drawn web comic was actually funny.
ETA: I mean, I’ve seen several people link to those comics here and not a single one has given me even a glimmer of a grin. It’s like a nerdy Family Circus or something.
