I am seriously considering becoming a subscribing member, but I posted a thread and now can’t get to it. What can I do?
Click either the Reply or New Post button.
I’m assuming you’re talking about this thread, since it’s the only other one you’ve started. Are you saying you are unable to find the thread (if so, try changing the display options at the bottom of the forum page to show threads from farther back) or that you for some reason can’t post to it?
Sorry, it’s called the Post Reply button. My bad.
I can’t even get to the thread to click Reply or New Post. My profile says I have no posts. But I do have one, I was very appreciate of the responses. The system, however, seems to want to get rid of me. Hell, I can come up with the $15, as long as the system will be civil.
Damn, talk about being beaten to the punch…
I tried that, but it didn’t work. In any case, you’re a Godsend, Giraffe, for providing that link. I like this board. I’ve tried some other ones and the only word I can find for them is “embarrassing.”
Thank you.
It’s true. I am. Most people just call me Internet Jesus.
The rest of us just call him the Internet Barney Google.
Google for short. Perhaps you’ve seen my website?
Did a search; couldn’t find it.
I must have missed the memo. When did they change the definition of most to “vanishingly close to zero”?
I tried that. There wasn’t a single giraffe reference to be found. Liarhead.
Gustave, you can keep track of your threads by subscribing to them. Click on the thread tools link near the top of the page then use the subscribe option from the menu.
You can automatically subscribe to your threads. Click on the User CP link then the edit options link. Go down to the Default Thread Subscription Mode section and select your choice.
click on the User Cp link any time to see replies to your threads. From the user CP you can click on the link View all Subscribed Threads to see your threads without new replies.
Or you can go to your own post, click on your own name which will take you to your public profile. From here you can see all your own posts or threads you started.
But that is a really cute Barney!
Wow, a post in this thread that is actually useful. What a concept!
