I had three paintings in a local art show that ended yesterday. Today they called me to let me know that one of my paintings (this one, in fact) had won the People’s Choice award, with 240 votes. Hooray!
This means that I will get to place some of my art in their “Champion’s Show” which will be held at a later as-yet-unknown date.
Anyway, I was excited and wanted to share.

{Shrugs} We all like what we like and dislike what we dislike. I like all kinds of art, but I rarely like things that have a human figure in them.
