I’m not a famous TV actor, but I play one on TV.

No, it’s true. I don’t.

I was in a Pepsi commercial for the Superbowl several years ago. I was on screen for about a second, and brought home $676.67 for 8 hours of sitting around and 10 minutes of filming…
Well as it never fails to impress anybody, I suppose I will say once again that I am a semi-popular radio D.J. here in “Knoxvegas”.
I won’t go into my station or who I am, strange as it may seem for my occupation I am actually a pretty private person. Through my job I have had the chance to hang out with some fairly big musical acts including BNL, DMB, Train, Natalie Merchant, Tool, Creed and others. Pay isn’t great - but benefits kick ass.
never fails to impress nobody ?
always fails to impress anyone ?
Dammit I was trying to be self-depricating but I used the wrong grammer.
NM - who is a giant horses ass . . . . one that talks on the radio.
Don’t believe I’ve ever heard a talking ass on the radio, much less one posting.
I hold the North American spam record.(Receiving not sending)
Well, Elton John once hit on my uncle when they were both playing golf in Hawaii.
And one of my aunts dated Alice Cooper in high school (his name was Vincent then, I believe).
Hmm, what else…oh yes! Niel Armstrong is my second cousin twice removed!
And all of that makes me, um, uh…nothing at all…
I made a TV ad.
For dog food.
No, I was not the dog.
This was almost.
Ken-L-Ration.

omfg your kidding right?
DAMN IT… You’RE
I’m going to be famous, possibly. It could happen. Just as soon as I get my book done, find an agent, and get a publisher.
Then you’ll see.
Nope.
Here is the first thread when I found out about a year ago.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, thats what I say about that old screenplay of mine. One day i’ll sell it and we’ll be rich, rich I say and we’ll live in a huge castle and drive sports…
Hey, me too!
I’m not famous, but I should be
Some folks from around where I live have probably read stories I’ve written in one of the most well-known inside-the-Beltway publications out there. Starting next year, I’ll be writing even more stories. Might even get to appear on C-SPAN.
Through my job, I’ve met and spoken to Jim Jeffords, Hillary Rodham Clinton and a few other random politicians.
My friend plays pro football and still manages to play an online video game (Asheron’s Call - the player killer server) and he is active on game-related message boards. He acts like a complete dick in game (and in RL), which is exactly how you’d expect a pro football player to act
I once dreamt that I imagined that I was Mary, Queen of Scots.
Does that count for being famous?
well I’m an olympic grade athlete in an olympic sport, but part of a team. So I’m seen but very few people would know my name or recognize me if I walked down the street. I have only been stopped once outside of a sporting venue area, for an autograph and a quick kiss. but thats it.
Hattrick
I’m a movie star. Spring and summer 2001 I made an amateur movie with my friend. It didn’t go out any farther than Carroll County, Maryland. But hey, a lot of people come in to my work and recognize me b/c their son/daughter have a copy of my movie (which is strange b/c I didn’t sell my movie to those kids. I think the video and VCD are being bootlegged.) But maybe if Sundance gets wind of the funniest movie ever made in Maryland things will change. Then I can become a real movie star and not an MCSE.
