In my profile summary, I have just seen that number of posts created has increased from 1.2k to 1.3k.
In my case, this is a significant raise in such a short period of time. I wonder if everyone else has gone through a similar experience and if the overall activity of the board has gone up considerably.

Likely it has since we can actually post now. Also, all the fogies complaining that it sucks because they changed it.
Does that mean the activity will slow down? Or go up? What to expect?
I’ve posted more since Sunday than I had in the preceding 2.5 years.
But that’s simply because I’d been staying away and when I got the email announcing the move I clocked in to set a password and keep my membership alive in our Brave New World.
Hard to say how long the novelty will last for me or anyone else. But I’d certainly expect at least a couple weeks’ spike in total activity.
Seriously! Since the board doesn’t give me an error message every 5 minutes, it’s much easier to post.
I think the design of this board is more conducive to back-and-forth conversation than the old one, which may account for it.
The above reasons make sense; also in my case I’ve been posting just to speed my way through the adjustment process - the more I use the site, the faster it will seem normal to me.
