I wonder why we haven't heard about this.

Given how little the OP has said, who cares whether he is conservative?

I wish the family well and for a minimum of pain in what will undoubtedly be a long and emotionally-fraught struggle.

But this thread remains pointless.

This thread has convinced me. I am 100% in favor of the right of a woman to choose whether she brings a child into the world or chooses to terminate her pregnancy. Unban 'em all, I say.

He’s conservative with his words.

Enthusiastic applause

I have no tolerance for people who bury other people alive.

What gave you that impression?

I skimmed his/her posting history. Nothing that appears controversial in the first few pages.

While that was a great early demonstration, it is nowhere near even experimental for implantation. We cannot currently grow organs outside of living organisms. This is certainly a great direction for cloning and stem cell research to explore, how to take your own cells and manufacture viable stem cells that then grow the specific organ in question in a lab vat, but we are no where near there. The article said “ten years”, which is the standard answer that means “we could some day eventually figure this out, but not without a ton of money and time and hope we don’t encounter weird complications like we’ve seen with Dolly and cloning and such, so yeah, 10 years, or infinity, either way”.

Oh, and we didn’t hear about the story because of privacy laws.
Hospitals will fire people who talk to the press about famous patients.

Wait- is that the debate? Free Speech vs HIPAA?

Oh dear.

:stuck_out_tongue:

They’re praying he doesn’t grow up to have a wide stance. Because that can lead to homosexuality.

Ok, I forgot…. What was this thread about?

Or a career as an NFL center.

The two aren’t mutually exclusive.

He/she said Civil Ware, not Civil War. What does Civil Ware have to do with Civil War reenactments?

At my last reading I was 53.76% for abortions. I had recently seen a pro-life billboard though, so that may be artificially low.

I am 100% against the OP having a debate in it though.

As a compulsive devil’s advocate, I am forced to come out* for* birth defects!

No, wait, not that compulsive.

I oppose androphagous dingoes.

For the sake of argument, can we just all assume the baby’s gay?
