Hey you guys, so, I’m slightly manic and this was inspired by a random prompt I saw on TikTok of all places. I just wanted to share with some people and here I am again! Feel free to give any feedback you feel like, I want honest opinions.
With a bit of good editing, this would make for a good ghost short story. Though mirrors have been done to death (pun intended) in this genre.
You might also enjoy the short stories of M.R. James, which I was only recently introduced to.

It could do with another good editing pass. It’s a tell-er, not a show-er, but that’s fine for many works, especially shorter ones, despite what you might hear from the author community. I would have liked to have seen some thematic or rhetoric use of reflections as a concept (unless it was there and I missed it).
Just in case you don’t already know, if you’re wanting to sell your stories for money, posting them online where just anybody can read them counts as publication, and the best you can hope for is reprint rates.

Yeah, I don’t know if I will ever collect my stories for publication or not, but I have thought Maybe one day…but the world will never know.
