(Ice) hockey at the Asian Winter Games

The Asian Winter Games are in progress in Harbin (China). The hockey groups include such powerhouses as Singapore, Kuwait, and Bahrain. In its three games so far, Bahrain has allowed 83 goals (but they did score one). They lost 20-1 to Singapore, 29-0 to Kyrgyzstan, and finally - 34-0 to Kuwait.

In another group, Hong Kong beat Macau 26-1, and India 30-0. In the latter game - Hong Kong had 85 shots on goal; India had one.

The playoffs start on the 10th, I suspect the game of the day will be Macau vs Bahrain.

Oof. My kid played some pretty lopsided games, and even kids knew that once the differential is approaching double digits, it’s time to practice passes and maybe lay off the shots a bit.
