this girl is a first year german student, and she said gutten nacht which i know means good night and she said then she said “ich libber diche” and i asked her what it ment and she went “it means i cant spell in german” but i know it doesnt mean that
so accounting for bad spelling, what could it mean in german.
Ich liebe dich, means I love you. Or I can’t spell in German really, really badly spelt.

I took German in college the first year they put in a language lab with tape machines into which you repeated the lesson’s German phrases.
One day I sat next to a girl who kept saying, very loudly: Itch leebba ditch, Itch leebba ditch.
I don’t think my German ever recovered from that.
Aha! “auf Deutsch” should be changed to “auf deutsch”. Actually, this lets me pose my question… was that changed by the “Rechtschreibung”, and if so, what is the correct way to do it now?

Chaoticdonkey was half right but had it the wrong way around. Before the reform, it would not have been capitalised but now it should be. I’d have Ich kann nicht auf Deutsch buchstabieren. Richtig being redundant.
Heh…you think we bitch about people typing with no caps now, imagine if this board was in German!
Meine Rechtschreibung suckt would also be acceptable… among chatroom dwellers at least…
