ID a children's book.

Over at Fark in a discussion about the best children’s books, someone has a long lost book that they can’t identify.

ok…maybe someone will finally be able to answer this for me.

My favorite children’s book(and the most farked up children’s book) was about a kid who got in trouble by his parents so the sent him to live in the attic. Not like “go there for an hour”, but LIVE in the attic. He found a pack of seeds and grew some tomatoes(I think) for food and collected rain water to drink. at the end of it his parents decide he can come back down and live with them again but he decides to stay in the attic.

does ANYONE know the name of that book? I’d love to find it and screw up my own kids with it.

This is a very interesting site. Been quite a while since I thought to go there. But this lady possesses the most remarkable talent for identifying books! I heard her interviewed on NPR a number of years ago.

She helped me once, regarding one I read way back at age 10.

I don’t see Felix in the Attic listed in the Stumpers or Mysteries Solved sections, though.

Huh. Last timeI suggested Loganberry I got smacked down. I still will recommend it, because it’s an awesome shop and I go there every chance I get, which is not often enough. NEODopers, make the trip.
