ID movie quote: "Now it's gahbaj!"

I have two movie quotes inextricably tangled in my mind. One is from the scene where Clouseau, in armor, totals a piano - “That was a priceless Steinway!” “Nuht enny more.”

The other is a young actor with a Brooklyn accent, yelling “Now it’s gahbaj!” What’s that from?

The line “Now it’s Garbage” is from Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple, played in the film by Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau. The lines in question go:

Felix: It’s not spaghetti! It’s Linguine!

Oscar (picks up plate, throws it at wall) Now it’s garbage!
Matthau didn’t have a Brooklyn accent, but I could see transliterating his delivery as “gahbaj”.

Odd Couple might be it, but I still have an image of a Travolta/Dean character delivering the line somewhat differently.

Definitely Odd Couple. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if Travolta spoofed it on “Welcome Back Kotter.”

And Matthau had an accent of some sort, and it helped to make the line memorable. Sort of a generic, “Pepperidge Farm” type New England accent maybe?

I may be recalling some spoof or intentional quotation. The Odd Couple usage is spot-on in nearly every other respect. Thanks.
