ID request for schlocky 70s horror movie, please?

I saw this movie – once! – on TV (on an independent TV station, on a Saturday afternoon) sometime in the early to mid seventies. It was before John Carpenter’s Halloween came out, so there wasn’t much graphic violence and/or gore.

The basic premise was that a group of young people were staying in a large house somewhere and one by one they were being killed. The only thing I remember vividly was the ending.

After several bodies have been discovered through the course of the movie, the last victim encounters some of the previously murdered people and is ultimately frightened to death. Then there is some exposition to explain that these people were cannibals and for some reason, the woman they were going to feast on had to die of natural causes. At the very end, her corpse, dressed in white, is wheeled into a great room, and the leader of the cannibals plugs in an electric knife and offers to start carving.

I want to say that the leader was played by Ray Milland, but when i checked his filmography, nothing like this film is listed.

Can anybody help me identify this movie?

That sounds like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, almost.

I took the liberty of posting your question on the IMDB board, and one of the experts posited that your movie might be Shriek of the Mutilated (1974), although there are some alternate titles for it.

Oh, my god…you HAVE to go look at the Google Images search for this film! That looks HORRIBLE! The Yeti costume looks like a shih-tzu fursuit.

Could someone explain to me why Photobucket links never ever work for me? I can’t even count the number of times Google Images has shunted me off to non-working Photobucket bullshit links.

That’s it!

Wow.

Just wow.

Nice work.
