On Saturday’s I think starting at midnight they used to have this program called shock theatre where they would have hosts such as “the hex man” introduce usually two horror movies, I used to love watching this a few years back, but I don’t think they show it anymore, anyway I vaguely remember seeing a movie on there which was something about a young boy of about twelve who finds a large pit in the woods and inside are these hairy monsters. I don’t if you would call them mole people or troglodytes or what but as the movie progresses the boy basically knocks or tricks people he does’nt like into falling in the pit and the monsters would eat them. I think I remember him throwing a kid in who used a wheelchair and later he is riding around on it. I cant remember the end exactly but I think he moves away and meets a girl and it turns out she has discovered a similar hole and throws the boy in it to be eaten by the monsters inside.

Yeah, that was a bizarre little flick. Your ememory of the ending jibes with how I recall it, as well, though it’s been a bunch of years now.
