ID this '70s commercial

Back in the early-to-mid-'70s there was a commercial for some sort of (snack?) food. There was a cartoon magician who stepped into a ‘vanishing box’ (because the product was so good it would ‘disappear like magic’ into one’s mouth?) and he says ‘Yokay, I’m gone!’ He pronounced ‘OK’ as ‘Yokay’.

Cookie Jarvis, the cookie crisp magician maybe?
Seems like the 70’s are too early for him though.

I’m not really sure, but maybe this guide to cereal characters will help.

I’ve found I often remember TV things earlier than they actually appeared. I think it was Cookie Crisp.

Cookie Jarvis was definitely around in the mid-'70s. I knew a guy named Jarvis in college who made reference to the commercial.

Waldo the Wizard, maybe?

He actually replaced Lucky the Leprachaun for a while (Lucky Charms). Tested better with audiences.

Could it have been Fruit Pie the Magician, from the Hostess snack cake stable of mascots (Captain Cupcake, Twinkie the Kid, that Ho-Ho Robin Hood guy, etc.)?

Dammit! I was convinced it was Cookie Jarvis, and then you remind me of this guy! (‘I’m Fruit Pie the Magician, the [something something] technician!’) Now, I’m thinking he might be the one.

OK, after reviewing YouTube I did not find the commercial I remember. But based on the other Fruit Pie The Magician (the Hostess Pie Technician), I’m sure this is the character and product.
