I was talking to a friend today about Dr. Who, and it reminded her of a show she watched about 20 years ago. She was vague on details, but remembers that it involved British teenagers that had the ability to talk to one another with their minds as well as to teleport to various locations.
She watched it in the US, but because of the accents, thought it was an import from BBC. Based on that, is there anyone here who has the wisdom to identify this show?

The Tomorrow People was ITV (I guess the BBC’s version would be Girls and Boys of Yesteryear). 
Nickelodeon made a remake of it. It last 2 seasons and consited of multipart serials (very rare for a US show). It did have British characters and was filmed in the UK.
Another vote for Tomorrow People. My wife also watched it as a child on Nickelodeon and had similar memories of it. A couple years back, she tracked it down and we got a couple DVDs. Exactly what she remembered and we quite enjoyed them.
I should add she seemed to remember the original series on Nickelodeon, not a U.S. remake. I’ll have to quiz her about that later.
