Some time ago I read one of those listicles about good, under-the-radar horror movies and came across one that sounded promising. But I’ve forgotten its title or who directed or starred in it.
The premise is: a man lives alone in a large house. A stranger comes by and finds a way to enter the house (uses the phone or some such). And then he disappears into the house and the owner can’t find him. He calls the cops, the cops search and they can’t find the guy either and tell the owner he must have split. The cops leave and the guy is left alone in his house, which is empty. I mean, isn’t it?
