…which may have had “camp” somewhere in the title. I remember no specifics, being around 7 at the time, but it was about a camp where the teens all take over. Far from something funny like “Porky’s,” this was a serious, dark movie, where they killed (?) some of the counselors, and the whole thing was very “lord of the flies”-esque.
The one defining thing about the movie that I remember was that there was some sort of canyon or ravine that someone fell into, possibly to his death. Maybe it had a rope bridge over it or something?
This is almost certainly not the movie you are looking for that I am about to mention but for some reason ‘Teen Agent’ Sprang to mind when I read your description.
Simple, really. I used the IMDB search page with search parameters : plot = camp + year = 1980-1990 + language = English + country = USA, then looked through the list it produced, clicked on a few likely titles, and found that one.
Just wanted to say that I did in fact know which movie you were referring to before anyone used IMDB. I remember the band in the movie singing “BEEF BEEF BEEF. BEEF BOLOGNA!” and thinking it was funny.
The movie is Summer Camp Nightmare for those that don’t want to click around.
BTW, why couldn’t you just say "Is it Summer Camp Nightmare? instead of “this one”?
